We then
interview our candidates in person before choosing the
two prospective residents. During their six month term
at 269 each of the artists will have one group and one
solo show of old and new works. The studio is divided
into two plots of between 200 square ft. wall space and
180 square ft. floor space. The workspace is accessible
from Tuesday-Sunday between 11.00am to 11.00pm with
extended hours available on request.
Visiting artists are chosen from applications sent
either from our website or by post. Our review is held
every 4 months and requires a CV and 10-15
representative images of work as Jpegs. Visiting artists
are not required to have professional
training/experience and all work will undertake the same
assessment from associates. We provide our mailing list
and free venue to all artists subject to a letter of
agreement available from this website. The gallery space
is open from 11.00 am – 11.00 pm from Tuesday – Sunday.
All private views are hosted on Tuesday evenings from
6.00 – 9.00 pm.
